Security is critical in every society, so much so that it is one of the basic needs enumerated in the hierarchy of needs developed by American psychologist Abraham Maslow. The irony, however, is that crimes continue to happen in America every single day, with some prevailing with impunity.
We believe that ensuring the security of all American citizens starts not with the government but within ourselves. It is our personal responsibility to make sure that we and our loved ones are out of harm’s way. If you run a business, you owe it to your employees to keep them safe in your workplace. For how can we live peacefully when there is always the fear of our lives being at risk?
The American Security blog was built in mid-2017 to reinforce the online discussions about security in the United States. There is so much work to be done in this area, and the least we could do is to avoid being reckless when it comes to our own safety and security. Here, you can find articles about security in the home, office, and wherever you may be in America.
