Especially Designed and built to ASC's standards in a ISO9001 Factory These units, (The TS-80 Halo head and TS82 Paddle head) have been manufactured with professional applications in mind that require unusual high sensitivity (adjustable to every situation by the user), durable construction and high levels of reliability. Operating on a 9V battery or rechargeable (not included) this unit is unusual in that it can detect a 25 cent coin at 7cm ( 2.75 inches) due to its high sensitivity head design. In cases where desensitization is desirable a button can instantly and momentarily reduce sensitivity to account for nearby presence of other metal; in addition to a red LED, the unit emits a short high pitched sound on small metal objects and a longer one for larger metal masses. An earphone jack is available for an optional earphone for discreet monitoring. Ideally used for stadiums, Corporate campuses, amusement parks, prisons, and any other location where it is desirable to have a unified presence.
