The MD 2000 metal/mine detector full pack system consists of the control unit, rechargeable battery, earpiece, loudspeaker module, 300mm telescopic search halo and 1000mm heavy duty probe and heavy duty truncheon(400mm) all fitted to a sealed weather resistant field case NATO MILSPEC approved this unit is typically used by military personnel to detect deeper, larger metallic ordinance. This pulse induction system unit is completely automatic in its operation and is ideally suitable for Military and Police EOD and IEDD operations. It is the original and ideal multi-purpose system for the detection of ferrous and non-ferrous objects. The system is supplied comprehensively with two search probes, a search halo, loudspeaker and earpiece and the control unit , all packable in a weather resistant soft carrying case. various extension options are available for a wide variety of applications. The unit search heads may be immersed in water for waterlogged ground or shallow water areas. Also available is a "Short Pack" version where some of the multiple probes of the multi-role unit may be omitted.
