This NEW Series-XX ballistic laminate is the highest level of Ballistic laminate retrofit protection offered. Applicable to 1/2 inch plate glass this laminate can be retrofitted to any existing glass for enhanced penetration protection against shotgun and small arms fire, explosions and attempted or accidental flying objects. Suitable for the highest level ballistic mitigation such as Police, Military, industrial office, bank or any other location where a high security protection is desired, especially without the high cost and weight of replacing existing glass with 1 inch or thicker bullet resistant glass. US government (DOD and State) approved to the BMAG Level 1 and GSA standards for Bomb explosions. The laminate passes the UL /ULC752 Bullet resisting material level !! standards as well as the ASTM E84 standard for surface burning characteristics. In hardened frame 1/2 inch plate glass locations the ballistic laminate has withstood fragmentation penetration from a 2500 TNT blast at a 50 foot distance. Product comes in 6o inch wide 50 foot rolls ( 250 Sq. Ft.)
Prices depend on the type of installation required and will generally range in the $100 per square foot range, compared to $400 per square foot for more traditional ballistic glass replacement.
